El Credito is hand made in the Dominican Republic under the careful guidance and supervision of the brands founder Ernesto Perez Carillo. Senor Carillo is originally from Cuba, where his family had been in the tobacco industry since 1907. His family left Cuba soon after the revolution but took with them a wealth of knowledge and experience with regards to producing fine handmade cigars.
