The flagship store in Geneva – the birthplace of the brand Davidoff – celebrates this year their centenary anniversary.

On this occasion, Davidoff launches this worthy anniversary cigar in the beloved Robusto format.

This cigar consists exclusively of tobaccos which were grown by Davidoff through crossbreeding or enhancing the development and raising of own seeds either by Davidoff itself in the Dominican Republic or in close cooperation by a partner in Ecuador. Five different types of tobacco were used for the filler, which were aged and stored between five and nine years in order to develop the full aroma and the outstanding characteristics of this cigar.

Ligero leaves were used for the predominant part of the filler, which award the cigar with notes of intense and full-bodied flavour. The binder, a variety of a San Vicente tobacco, was subject to an especial and longer lasting fermentation. And the darker, red-brown Criollo wrapper was harvested from the new discovered growing area in Yamasá, which absorbed the characteristics of the red soil. Complex notes, intense but well-balanced, a fuller-bodied cigar in taste and flavour make this cigar an extraordinary smoke indulgence. Lighted up and accentuated by the beloved Robusto format and the first-quality packaging. That’s the way Davidoff celebrates this anniversary of a special kind.
