A Spanish businessman named Juan Lopez Diaz founded his brand in the 1870's.

Although little known around the world today, Juan Lopez has always attracted a following amongst aficionados of Habanos particularly for the Seleccion No. 1 and, most notably, for the Seleccion No. 2 sizes.

The range offers a consistent medium to full flavour based on a rich blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone and consist of long filler leaves.

Along with the Juan Lopez Selecci?n No. 1, these are undeniably the two best cigars from Juan Lopez. The Seleccion No. 2 cigars have propelled the brand from a 2nd class manufacturer into the league of great cigar makers. The Robusto size lover will really appreciate this cigar. Well constructed with an excellent draw; smokes evenly. The very distinct flavour is a nice departure from the usual full-bodied Cuban. The taste gets more complex, and eventually the cigar becomes a nice little powerhouse. Medium flavour - 4 7/8 - 50 ring gauge - single cigar
