MONTECRISTO

Established in 1935, Montecristo is today the world’s most popular Havana cigar brand and sets the benchmark for many Havana smokers against which other brands are judged.

The Open Series was introduced in 2009. Consisting of four sizes and blended to a lighter, medium-bodied flavour, it was initially aimed at a new generation of smokers who enjoy outdoor pursuits.

All of these cigars have been made ‘Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga’ - totally by hand using long filler - and are rolled with selected leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone, a region of Pinar del Rio in Cuba that is known for producing the best tobacco in the world.

OPEN SLAM

The Slam is the first addition to the Series since its launch and is an entirely new size within the Habanos portfolio. Known as an Idilicos in the factories of Cuba, it measures 5 5/8” x 52 ring gauge and is presented in dressed boxes of 20 cigars.
