Date Added: Sunday 08 October, 2023 A new cigar for me, though had a few of the Mitchellero range which I like. The price is good, a bit more slimmer, the flavour was nice, the burn time 20-25 minutes. However, I noticed that the end was quite red cherry when alight, (like a cigarette), though other cigars I’ve had didn’t glow like this. In addition the burn was very uneven and when not drawing, the smoke didn’t seem to come solely from the foot, but further down the shaft, which gave it am overall messy smoking effect.

Date Added: Sunday 08 October, 2023 I found these not to my taste, most probably the strength. They smell good and have a lighter pale look about them. The burn was even and they last about 30-40 minutes. Though, strangely when you not puffing it seems like they gone out, not giving off hardly any smoke, then you draw and it perks up again. However, I did experience it going out went to re-light and the flavour changed a lot, just went bitter. I kept these at 72RH in my humidor. It's not to say they not a great cigar, just not for me.

Date Added: Saturday 07 October, 2023 Wow. This cigar was recommended to me by the team at Simply Cigars and I have to say that it has not disappointed. This was an incredibly enjoyable Perdomo Maduro cigar from start to finish and I was left wanting more. This was a relaxing smoke with a smooth draw, firm ash, a delicious medium flavor throughout and an enjoyable burn temperature. Highly recommended.

Date Added: Friday 06 October, 2023 I have not been able to purchase the Macanudo Maduro Diplomat Cigars that I enjoyed in the US here in the UK so I have been looking for an alternative at a reasonable price point. This cigar was recommended to me by Simon at Simply Cigars. It is a mild cigar that was an enjoyable afternoon smoke (accompanied by a cheeky Bourbon). I did not get the flavor profile that I was initially expecting or that I was looking for in a more robust maduro cigar so the hunt continues. That said, it is an enjoyable smoke with a strong white ash that was overall a very pleasant experience. I will happily purchase more of the Alec Bradley Project 40 Maduro Robusto Cigars.

Date Added: Friday 29 September, 2023 I have never tried Villiger before, so a first for me! I do have to say I had initially an issue with trying to get the silver wrapper open, then discovered the tab further, it’s not in the place you’d naturally go for, so understand previous reviewers having this issue. They are fairly square, not the norm cigar. The smoking experience was ok, even burn etc, but the caveat for me was I found the smoking ends split fairly soon, in I was left with flakes in my mouth, which had to keep picking out, I hate doing this. I am not sure if purchase again, for price wise certain new world cigars hold a better more enjoyable smoke, IMHO.
