My favourite time of the day is when I can retire to my study, light a candle and reply to some emails. My candle has become a ritual – I have always enjoyed the delights of Jo Malone, Diptyque and my all time favourite ’Balmoral’ by Cire Trudon - I never really felt the need to venture elsewhere –

However, recently, I stumbled across a beautifully packaged Simply Cigars candle. The smell was wood, leather, and cognac and if luxurious had a smell this would be it – understated yet it wraps you under a spell of olfactoric delight. After a couple of hours of burning this candle, my study had turned into a haven of peace, tranquillity, spice, and intoxicating masculinity. Suffice to say the Simply Cigars candle has become my new obsession!
