I think these Villiger Maduro Exports are great.

Opening the box, unraveling the tissue wrapping and examining a cigar, I think the pre-lit aroma is stunning. I get leather, herbs and a hint of dark chocolate.

Light it up and the first third for me is sweet cocoa, coffee and a mild peppery spice in the background.

The second third and I get a spicier and more peppery flavour profile, rich and satisfying.

The last third gives a duller flavour profile for me of coffee and spice - but still good. I tend to finish with a thumb’s width of the cigar left.

The after taste really lingers for me and can only be described as sweet chocolate or coffee.

Smoking time is about 25 minutes for me. I am really enjoying them. A good and relaxing experience and I will buy more.
