This cigar is amazing for the price! I much prefer the Maduro over the usual wrapper of the Chinchalero brand. Burn went slightly wonky towards the end but for the most part it was razor sharp. It was quite a bold cigar but not overwhelming and it was full of earthy, rich tobacco flavours, turning slightly bready towards the end. I cannot recommend the Maduro Picadillo enough!

Nicely creamy and slightly earthy. Quite a mild cigar. Very enjoyable with lots of smoke. My only complaint is that the burn was very inconsistent. Lots of canoeing and it needed touching up a lot. The draw was perfect, however.

I've only tried the one of these Cigars... that being said I'm happy to say that it was a delicious smoke, despite cutting fairly narrow I'm guessing the Ring Gauge (RG) of this cigar allowed it to provide a truly satisfying draw on each and every toke. I'm on the verge of buying a Whole box of these chunky Cigars... more than a couple will be on my current order, at the least, whilst I try a few others of similar RG, but I'm happy to say these are a delicious smoke and highly recommended!

Creamy, mellow, lighter coloured version of the dark Maduro wrapped 4 inch fat Novillo - which unfortunately Simply Cigars have discontinued (!?). C'est dommage, as I recently ordered 10 and gave them a glowing report! I concur with Karl that overall this is a worthwhile purchase with earthy creaminess - well worth the price. Unlike Karl's, my cigar had an exceptionally easy draw, perhaps too easy. The pull so was so easy, I had to back off to avoid overheating it or causing too rapid a burn. Well over an hour's worth of subtle toffee and cocoa flavours gradually getting more mellow and creamy; liked it so much I smoked it till it burned my fingers. Overall a decently priced enjoyable smoke well worth 'sipping' on.

Bought 10 of these chunky looking cigars to try them out. They arrived 2 days later, in original wooden box. They are well made short fat cigars with a lovely smooth dark brown wrapper and densely packed filler. Smoked one immediately - not bad for just out of the cellophane sleeve. They improve greatly after 1-2 weeks in a humidor. They give a solid light grey ash, plumes of white smoke, leave a pleasant room note and have quite complex woody spicy flavours for the money. Only one small problem, wrapper broke up in a couple, so don't over handle and leave in humi as long as possible, they really improve and the draw is better. I smoke 'em till they burn my fingers - not at all bitter or too peppery either. Smoked my last one for about 90 minutes - well impressed. Will buy more of these quality premium sticks which cost less than £4 a stick.

The popular Chinchalero has introduced a new, "fat" ring gauge cigar, the Novillo. Short and fat , smooth and mild smoke, nicely balanced. Ecuadorian binder and a Nicaraguan/Honduran filler.
I was a fan of the same cigar but in the 52 ring gauge but wanted something just that bit
Bigger. The Chinchalero Novillo delivered in size and taste. But found it to be hard on the pull throughout the smoke.
Which for me was a slight disappointment. more of an easy pull would have made this much more enjoyable. The taste was earthy with hits of creaminess. :) Overall for the price and size of this cigar it was worth while :)
