The Dalmore whisky makers visit the distillery’s historic sandstone warehouses every November to explore the ageing casks. In the chill shadows, their casks are meticulously assessed, and only a handful with distinguishing attributes are hand-selected from any one year.
The mature spirit from these casks are masterfully married to create one harmonious vintage – a rare whisky that reveals the soul of that single year at The Dalmore. Carefully crafted, finely balanced, and bringing together the very finest casks from one year, each limited-release single malt will then take its rightful place in The Vintage Collection.
This Highland single malt has been matured in a combination of Amoroso, Apostoles, and Matusalem sherry casks and Marsala wine barrels. Non-chill filtered and natural colour, this whisky retails all original features.
Nose: Honey, fresh baked brioche and iced ginger cake.
Palate: Orange blossom honey, spices and mandarins.
Finish: Patisserie sugars, ginger snaps and cinnamon.
