The Soldadera Edition was created to honour the fearless women who fought alongside men during the Mexican Revolution. This line is dedicated to three remarkable women and is presented in three distinct blends: Sampetrina, La Coronela, and Teniente Angela. Each cigar reflects the strength, resilience, and individuality of its namesake. The Soldadera Edition is also the first Casa 1910 range to be handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, produced at the respected Tabacalera La iSLA, owned by Hostos Fernandez Quesada.

The Sampetrina Robusto pays tribute to Petra Herrera, known as “Sampetrina”. Disguising herself as a man under the name Pedro Herrera, she fought bravely in Pancho Villa’s forces, earning a formidable reputation for leadership and tactical skill. Despite her achievements, she was never formally recognised, leading her to form her own all-female brigade, reportedly numbering up to a thousand Soldaderas. This cigar stands as a powerful acknowledgement of her courage and legacy.
