Had a couple of the Petit Robusto vitola of these before and they were terrific. Unfortunately with my first Novellini, it split at the cap quite badly while making a punch cut. I had no cigar glue or pectin to hand to repair so I tried to smoke it anyway, and whilst obviously a very good cigar, the damaged cap made became a bigger problem as I got towards the end of the first third. As a makeshift stopgap, I applied a little honey to the split to hold it together and although this worked for a bit, it began to fall apart in the final third. Very disappointing issue for what was otherwise a very enjoyable stick. Never had a split like that before on any cigar so im fairly sure it wasn't my technique with the punch. Just one of those things I guess. I will order another and try again after I have tried the robusto extra I have in the humidor. The issue with the crack aside, it would be a solid 4 out of 5 for me but due to that particular issue I have to mark it down as a 3.
