Plasencia Cigars, the leading producer of premium cigars and the largest tobacco producer in Central America, was awarded 1st place in a consumer cigar blind tasting held by Manuel’s, one of the finest and most renowned cigar shops in Zürich, Switzerland. The award was conferred for its Alma del Campo Tribu cigar, one of the company's first brand-name cigars to be introduced.

Plasencias goal is to use the best leaves of aged tobacco exclusively in their cigars, leaving them in the hands of the best collaborators in the fields and artists of the factories.

RESERVA ORIGINAL

Plasencia Reserva Original has the same taste that captivated the Europeans more than five centuries ago when they arrived in the New World.

Reserva Original is the only cigar made with 100% organic tobacco from Esteli and Jalapa, going back in time to re-discover the original taste of tobacco. Consistently through the whole cigar, with a great draw and impeccable construction.

The leaves in this blend have been aged for more than five years.

ALMA FUERTE

For the Alma Fuerte, a team of five blenders, including Plasencia, Sr. and Jr., worked to create the cigar from 100% Nicaraguan tobacco. The blend focuses on the family’s Criollo ’98 seed, using tobaccos from each of the major growing regions of Nicaragua (Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe). In addition, the Plasencias are using some of their rarest and most premium-grade leaves from their vast tobacco inventories.

ALMA DEL CAMPO

The Alma Series was ranked the Best Cigar of the Year in 2017 by Cigar Snob Magazine.

Alma Del Campo received a total rating of 91 points out of a possible 100, securing its spot as the champion among cigars worldwide - a title previously held by Cuban Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2 in 2014.

ALMA DEL FUEGO

Plasencia Alme del Fuego radiates passion and highlights the strong character of the volcanic soil that stems from Ometepe Island. Sun-grown wrappers from the fields of Jalapa Valley were carefully selected, complementing the cigar with a sweet character.
