To celebrate 145 years of cigar-making excellence, Romeo y Julieta introduced the Linea de Oro range in 2020 — a bold and luxurious new chapter for one of Cuba’s most prestigious cigar brands. The Hidalgos is one of three vitolas in the series, alongside the Dianas and Nobles, and is blended to deliver a richer, more complex profile than the brand’s traditional medium-bodied lines.
Each cigar is meticulously hand-rolled using premium filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region — Cuba’s most renowned tobacco-growing land — and dressed in a lustrous, oily wrapper. Expect a refined balance of cedar, cocoa, roasted nuts and gentle spice, evolving beautifully throughout the smoke.
Presented in a striking red lacquered box embossed with a golden medallion, each of the 20 cigars carries a bespoke Linea de Oro band and an additional gold foot band with holographic accents reminiscent of those found on Cohiba vitolas.
