The name Cohiba is derived from the ancient Taino Indian word for the bunches of tobacco leaves that Columbus first observed being smoked by Cuba’s native people — the earliest form of a Habano.

Every cigar in the Maduro 5 series features a dark, lustrous maduro wrapper aged for five years, imparting a natural sweetness and exceptional smoothness.
