Cuaba Cigars

Cigar strength: light to medium

Every Cuaba cigar is crafted in the distinctive double figurado shape—a style that was immensely popular in the late 19th century and considered the height of cigar-making artistry. In 1996, this rich tradition was revived at the Romeo y Julieta factory, bringing back one of the most challenging formats in the world of Cuban cigars. Double figurados, tapered at both ends, remain a true symbol of craftsmanship and deserve a place in every aficionado’s collection.

At its launch, Cuaba offered just four smaller vitolas. Since 2003, however, the brand has expanded to include three impressive large formats: the Cuaba Distinguido, Cuaba Salomón, and Cuaba Diadema—all admired for their bold presence and exceptional smoking experience.

The name Cuaba comes from the Taíno Indians, dating back to the time of Columbus. It referred to a highly combustible bush used to light their “Cohiba,” making the name deeply rooted in Cuban tradition.

All Cuaba Cuban cigars are made with a medium to full-bodied blend of premium filler and binder tobaccos from the prestigious Vuelta Abajo region. Like all premium Habanos, they are crafted using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano method—long filler, totally handmade—guaranteeing the finest quality in construction and flavour.

For those seeking both history and artistry, Cuaba cigars offer a smoking experience that is as unique as it is memorable, uniting tradition, complexity, and elegance in every draw.
