The Partagas Maduro No.1 is a striking expression of the famed Partagas brand, known for its deep, full-bodied flavour and classic Cuban intensity. Measuring 5 1/8" x 52 ring gauge, this robust cigar is dressed with a distinctive secondary band that reads “Maduro No.1”, signalling its unique position within the range.

The term Maduro refers to the dark, oily wrapper leaf – harvested from the top of the shade-grown tobacco plant. After a long process of natural fermentation and ageing, these leaves take on a rich appearance and develop a sweet, complex aroma. The result is a cigar bursting with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, molasses, and earth, balanced by the unmistakable depth of traditional Partagas character.

While Maduro wrappers were first introduced to the Habanos portfolio with the Cohiba Maduro 5 range in 2007, this marks the first time such a wrapper has been dedicated to a Partagas cigar. A new size and a bold new direction for one of Cuba’s oldest and most respected cigar houses.
