The Trinidad brand takes its name from the 16th-century city of La Santisima Trinidad (The Holy Trinity), a UNESCO World Heritage Site on Cuba’s southern coast. Established as a Habano brand in 1969, Trinidad cigars were originally crafted as diplomatic gifts and were not released for public sale until 1998.
Initially, only the Fundadores size was produced, but in 2003, three more vitolas — the Reyes, Coloniales and Robusto Extra — were added, followed by the Robusto T in 2009. Each Trinidad cigar is beautifully presented with the brand’s distinctive gold-embossed band and signature pigtail cap, symbolising its prestige and heritage.
Handcrafted at the El Laguito factory, also home to Cohiba, the Trinidad Reyes is blended using the finest Vuelta Abajo tobaccos. It delivers an aromatic and well-balanced profile of woody spice, roasted coffee, and subtle sweetness, producing a smooth yet complex medium-bodied smoke.
