CAO Pilon Robusto

The CAO Pilon Robusto is a refined expression of traditional craftsmanship, inspired by the historic Cuban pilon fermentation method. Dating back to the 19th century, this technique involves stacking tobacco leaves in small, circular formations to encourage a slower, more natural fermentation process.

This method enhances the colour, texture and flavour of the tobacco while reducing ammonia and sugar levels, resulting in a cleaner burn and superior combustion.

Expertly blended by Agustin Garcia and Rick Rodriguez, this cigar features a silky Ecuadorian wrapper over a rich Nicaraguan binder and filler, delivering a balanced yet complex smoking experience.

Expect notes of earth, cedar, roasted nuts, cocoa and gentle spice, with a smooth draw and consistent burn throughout. Medium to full in strength, it offers depth without overpowering, making it an excellent choice for both seasoned smokers and those exploring fuller-bodied cigars.
